Ingredients:

500 g flour
7g (1 packet) dry yeast
1 teaspoon sugar
3 tsp salt
1.5 cup warm water (36 deg C)
1 tbs vegetable oil
Directions:
  1. Place yeast and sugar in a small container and add 0.5 cup of water. Mix and stand aside for 10 min or until it froths up.

  2. Mix flour and salt in a bowl.

  3. Add yeast to flour whilst stirring until sticky.

  4. Slowly mix in rest of water (1 cup).

  5. Put oil in a large bowl so dough will not stick and transfer dough in to it.

  6. Roll the dough until covered with oil and cover with damp tea towel for 1.5 hours to rise.

  7. Spread 1 cup of flour on flat surface and kneed for about 10 min or until dough is smooth and all flour is absorbed.

  8. Place back in bowl and cover with a damp tea towel to rise again. About 1 hour.

  9. Shape 2 round loafs and place 4 parallel cuts across top of each loaf.

  10. Place at top shelve of an oven at 200 deg C for about 40 min.

  11. Allow to rest for 30 min.
