1.4 kg pork loin ribs
½ cup minced onion 3 tbs brown sugar 1 ½ tsp paprika ½ tsp chilli powder ½ tsp dry mustard ½ tsp salt 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper ½ cup tomato juice ¼ cup ketchup ¼ cup water 2 tbs cider vinegar 1 ½ tbs Worcestershire sauce |

Directions: | ||||||||||||
Brown ribs on both sides in fry pan and pour off fat.
Meanwhile to prepare sauce, blend onion, brown sugar, and dry seasonings in a saucepan. Add tomato juice, ketchup , water, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and mix. Bring to boiling, cover and simmer about 10 minutes. Put browned ribs into a large slow cooker. Pour hot sauce over ribs. Cover and cook on Low 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours. |
