Mizeria - Cucumbers in tangy cream

This delightful, cooling salad is anything but "misery" It's a great accompaniment to pork, ham, chicken, fish, just about anything. Choose thin cucumbers with small seeds or the seedless variety.

Ingredients:

4 cucumbers thinly sliced and drained
1 tsp Salt
200ml thickened cream
4 tbs sugar
5 tbs white vinegar
1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
pepper to taste
Directions:
Peel and thinly slice cucumbers, add salt and stir through. Let them sit for 10 - 15 minuted and drain the juice. You can squeeze them a bit to get rid of more juice.
In a separate cup combine cream, sugar, dill, vinegar and mix through.
Poor the mix over cucumbers and stir through.
Season with pepper to taste.
